Beautiful and well presented Village House in one of the most picturesque villages in La Alpujarra Granadina: Yegen. The property, built on two levels plus a roof terrace, has been renovated by the current owner in the absence of the garage, which is currently used as a warehouse. It has beamed ceilings in all rooms and has two entrances, a cozy living room equipped with a wood stove and two large windows, which offers wonderful views and lots of light to the room as it faces south.

The kitchen is fully equipped and is separated from the living room by a central arch. On the same floor, there is a bedroom and a bathroom. Stairs lead to the lower part where there are two other bedrooms, and those same stairs lead to the spacious roof terrace, where there is a seating area and from which you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Eastern Alpujarra.

The property has all the services connected, as well as internet and telephone line.

Yegen is a Spanish town and hamlet belonging to the municipality of Alpujarra de la Sierra, in the province of Granada. It is located in the eastern part of the Alpujarra Granadina region. Nine kilometers from the border with the province of Almería, near this town are the nuclei of Mecina Bombarón, Válor and Golco.

Yegen became known after being immortalized by the British Hispanist Gerald Brenan in the pages of his book South of Granada. The English writer thus explained his attraction to the place where, in the early 1920s, he decided to take up residence with him.
